BLS (Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers)
This course is for Healthcare Professionals who need to know how to perform CPR, as well as other lifesaving skills, in a wide variety of in-hospital and out-of-hospital settings. This course is often required by many hospitals or schools related to the medical field. Individuals such as nursing students, EMT students, PA students and others will very likely be required to be certified in BLS before or during school sessions. Although this course is designed for healthcare providers, the general public is welcomed to take the course.
HSAED (Heartsaver CPR AED)
This course is for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs to know how to perform CPR or to obtain a certificate for CPR to meet job, regulatory or other requirements. This course is highly recommended for daycare workers, school teachers, security personnel, summer camp workers, baby sitters and construction workers. This course is NOT designed for healthcare providers.
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
This course is designed for healthcare professionals who either direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest and other cardiovascular emergencies. This includes personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care and critical care units. The instructor in this course will highlight the importance of team dynamics and communication, systems of care and immediate post-cardiac-arrest care. It also covers airway management and related pharmacology. In this course, skills are taught in large, group sessions and small, group learning and testing stations where case-based scenarios are presented.
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
This course is designed for healthcare professionals who respond to emergency in infants and children. These include personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care, and critical care units such as physicians, nurses, paramedics and others who need a PALS course completion card for job or other requirements. The instructor in this course will use a series of simulated pediatric emergencies to reinforce the important concepts of a systemic approach to a pediatric assessment, basic life support, PALS treatment algorithms, effective resuscitation and team dynamics. The goal of the PALS course is to improve the quality of care provided to seriously ill or injured children, resulting in improved outcomes.
IV Cert. (Intravenous Certification)
Instruction in insertion of traditional over the needle cannula peripheral aka “short” intravenous catheters. Instruction includes the insertion procedure, techniques for proper and successful catheter insertions, and care, assessment, and maintenance post catheter insertion.
HSAED/FA (Heartsaver CPR AED and First Aid)
This course teaches:
1. First aid basics
2. Medical emergencies
3. Adult/child/infant CPR with mask
4. Adult/child/infant choking
5. Adult/child/infant AED use
(First aid classroom only available for groups of 6 or more.)

Teach employees how bloodborne pathogens are spread and how to help prevent exposure incidents by following work practice controls. Topics include engineering controls, personal protective equipment, personal hygiene cleaning/disinfecting equipment and supplies, and recognizing, reporting and following up on employee exposures to infectious materials.
Rapid Stemi ID
Rapid STEMI ID is a self-directed, online course that teaches healthcare professionals to use a 12-lead ECG, interpret electrocardiograms (ECGs) for signs of STEMI (ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction) and activate a system of care for rapid reperfusion of an occluded coronary artery.
